The bigger the role research and innovation plays, the more important it is to monitor its integration and responsible use. There’s a need for new policies and methods of transformation of the research and innovation (R&I) system comprising those of responsible research and innovation (RRI). Building on the achievements of the MoRRI project, which conceived and delivered the first RRI monitoring system in Europe, the EU-funded SUPER_MoRRI project will work to secure sustained data collection, curation, further evaluation and clarification of the MoRRI indicators. It will also develop a more complete scientific understanding of the complicated and diverse relationships between RRI policies and practices and their societal and economic impact. SUPER_MoRRI will strive to create a mature monitoring system with robust, realistic and easy to implement indicators and metrics.
